Revolution

De La Salle Innersoul, in its 15th year of existence, presents REVOLUTION.

On November 15 & 16, 2012, 7:30 PM, at the Teresa Yuchengco Auditorium, witness as history unfolds right before your eyes, and prepare for a lineup of performances that are all for empowerment, love, faith, and change.
De La Salle University's pop vocal group whose ministry is to spread faith and hope to its audiences. It hones soloists in various genres of contemporary music from pop, jazz, rock, R&B and rap.

It all started with the college reunion of four Kundirana members whose passion for singing led them to establishing a musical group of their own. Resultantly, Innersoul was formed, became a member group of the Cultural Arts Office, and launched on October 3, 1997. Another member came into the group in 1998, and the five members went on to stage their first major concert entitled, "Innersoul : In Control". After the success of their concert, Innersoul went on to do a concert tour of La Salle schools all over the country. The five members became seven in 1999, and in the same year, Innersoul staged their second major concert, "100% Innersoul".

During the succeeding years, the celebrity of Innersoul became greater. The group became in-demand for college and university activities not only within De La Salle University-Manila campus, but also in other Universities. The year 2001 marked the end of Innersoul’s exclusivity of membership for former Kundirana members for they now started recruiting non-Kundirana alumni. The newly revitalized Innersoul, went on to present their Valentines concert, dubbed as "Soulmates", with Marian Quadrangle as the setting. Year 2003 marked the end of exclusivity to male members for Innersoul has now opened its doors to accepting female vocalists. Last 2007, Innersoul held a successful 10th year Anniversary Concert followed by a series of successful recitals and concerts such as "Under The Starlit Sky", "Carnivale", "Philosophy Of Music", "Forever Yours", "In Love", "Dozen Delights", and "Songs Forever".

Innersoul is expected to reach greater heights in the years to come, having been able to produce excellent performers like Vince Alaras of the premiere band South Border, Johann de la Fuente, stage actor for Trumpets and Gian Carlo Magdangal of the pop vocal group 17:28 and of Philippine Idol fame. The legacy of quality entertainment shall live on and continue to be provided by Innersoul for many years to come.

De La Salle Innersoul has played a big part in my college life. I was once a member of this group from 2008 - 2011. I used to be the group's talent manager during my stay in the university. Although I am not a singer, I can say that I am very bonded with this group. I have spent most of my time with them while I was in college that's why leaving school has been very hard for me. They're extraordinarily special to me that even if I have already graduated nearly 2 years ago, I continue on supporting them by watching their events. And the recent concert that they had was the Revolution. (https://www.facebook.com/delasalleinnersoul)

Every year, there is a different concept for each concert. And for this year, it is all about Revolution. It speaks of our fight against war, poverty, and other different issues that our world is facing. At the end of everything, we should always remember that our most powerful defence and driving force is our faith with the Lord Almighty.

The Master, Sir Brad!

We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. - 1 Thessalonians 1:3
